Mad Mischief Book Signing On June 17th

Book Signing of Mad Mischief

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE, Montecito, CA:

Mark the date in your calendar; on Saturday June 17 the Telecote Book Shop will be hosting a book signing for Susan St John’s new novel Mad Mischief. The event runs from 3pm to 5pm and will include a brief reading by Richard Mineards of the Montecito Journal. Light refreshments will be served and RSVPs can be directed to madmischiefmarketing@gmail.com.

Susan St John is a natural born storyteller, but her story doesn’t start there. As all good writers do, she took inspiration from her own life experiences in the creation of this gripping novel. Her journey from VP of Sales for a division of MCA/Universal Studios to securities broker and entrepreneur led her to understand that “life itself is a journey”. As a seasoned world traveler she had plenty to draw upon!

Mad Mischief chronicles the journey of Sarah as she confronts her internal and external demons. While on safari in sub-Saharan Africa she must contend with not only her own state of mind but the erratic behavior of her husband and tour guide as well. Reality itself is suspended due to a near lethal cocktail of antidepressants and and-malarial drugs. Her savior just might be the elusive photographer who manages to materialize just when she needs him the most.

St John’s first novel has been met with rave reviews; readers are describing it as passionate, gripping and hauntingly poetic. Ms. St John is being touted as a brilliant and unparalleled storyteller who engages readers from her very first words. This book is a must read.  Join us for the book signing and don’t forget to pick up extra copies for gifting!
